Our Ministry was formed in 2006 for the purpose of improving the quality of life for low income residents ,seniors , children ,single parents and other disadvantaged individual in our region by offering the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing health and healthy living ,educational and career and economic opportunities. NAC Healthcare Services is a Non-Profit Company organized to address the needs of low income seniors, individuals and families in Jefferson County Alabama. The Organization provides health programs, in addition to educational, economic and career advancement opportunities.

NAC Healthcare Services was founded in 2006 by Teresa Dickerson, who had been active in community service and development in the Birmingham area for several years, prior to organizing NAC. Teresa has a servant’s heart; she is passionate about her mission and gives a hundred percent to anything she commits herself to. She saw the need in the community for health education, especially in the target population she is serving, and decided to become active by organizing and hosting health seminars and workshops. The Organization is currently expanding its services beyond workshops and seminars and has started to develop a certified nursing assistants program, career training/ job readiness training and an adult daycare program.  In addition to being the founder of NAC, Teresa is a wife, mother and has been a successful entrepreneur for many years. She owns a nursing agency, and she is a licensed real estate agent with Realty South.

 NAC Healthcare Services mission is to improve the lives of the underserved communities in Jefferson County Alabama by providing health and educational resources and opportunities in addition to providing career training and daycare solutions for seniors.
